Error 404

What is an Error 404?

Error 404 triggers when a web browser cannot find a file. This can be due to users’ not spelling an URL correctly or can be an issue going back to the publisher of the website, such as the page having been deleted (also known as a broken link).

What can you do to avoid Error 404 on your website?

No matter how many resources you put into ensuring your website functions properly, there is always a chance that users could get an Error 404. There are, however, certain things you can do to improve your visitors’ experience, such as including a large image with a witty message, a search form, or even displaying your bestsellers.
