The integration between theMarketer and Gomag helps you automate smarter, sell faster, and personalize every step of the customer journey. From syncing contacts to applying discounts in-cart or adding products straight from emails, everything works together—seamlessly and efficiently.
Here’s how to seamlessly link the two platforms and unlock the full potential of the integration.
1. Connect your Gomag store to theMarketer
As soon as your theMarketer account is created, you’ll enter the onboarding flow. Select ‘Gomag’ from the list of platforms, then install the theMarketer plugin using this guide.
Once the plugin is installed, in your Gomag admin panel, go to ‘Gomag Apps’ > ‘Marketing’, find theMarketer, and paste the three keys: Tracking KEY, REST KEY, and Customer ID, which you’ll find in the first step of the onboarding process.
When you’re done, click ‘Next’. The connection will be tested automatically, and your product feed will be imported in just a few minutes. If you haven’t configured your feed yet, follow this guide.

2. Set up your brand profile
Next, define your brand identity. Click ‘Import my brand’, and theMarketer will automatically fetch your logo, fonts, color palette, and button styles from your website.
If some elements can’t be retrieved, you can manually customize them later in ‘Settings’ > ‘Website profile’.

3. Import your contacts
It’s time to bring in your contact list. You can copy and paste them, upload a .CSV file, or import contacts from other platforms. When ready, click Next.

4. Validate your domain
Domain validation ensures successful email delivery, offering an additional security layer. If you’re using Cloudflare, the process is fully automatic and completed in seconds.

If you’re not using Cloudflare, you’ll receive the records to add manually through the DNS settings of your domain provider. Once done, click ‘Validate domain’ to proceed.

5. Invite your team and complete the onboarding
You can now add your teammates with customized access levels and watch a short video tour of how theMarketer works.

And… you’re done!
You’ve successfully integrated the two platforms, which means you can start building campaigns, automations, and personalizing each message with precision.
What you can do directly from the Gomag platform
Once integrated, theMarketer becomes an essential part of your Gomag ecosystem. In the dashboard, you’ll notice a dedicated section summarizing your theMarketer activity. This includes a quick overview of key performance indicators: number of emails sent, clicks, transactions, and total sales generated during the selected period. It’s a helpful snapshot that lets you monitor campaign performance without ever leaving Gomag.

At the top left of the screen, you'll see the page title, which you can rename by clicking the pen icon, the URL, which you can copy by clicking the corresponding icon, and the last saved timestamp, which shows when your page was last updated.
Also within the Gomag interface, under the ‘Modules’ menu, you’ll find a full page dedicated to theMarketer. This provides a more detailed view of your latest campaign, subscriber growth, and eCommerce stats. You’ll also find a quick shortcut for launching a new newsletter campaign, which takes you straight to the email editor in theMarketer.

By accessing the app settings, you can activate powerful features like generating unique discount codes directly from theMarketer, sending SMS messages through the platform, or displaying prices in a currency different from your store’s default across emails and automations.

Moreover, from the ‘Mail’ section in the Gomag’s settings, you can select theMarketer as your provider for transactional emails. This ensures fast, reliable delivery of essential messages, as well as full visibility into sends, opens, and hard bounces.

Advanced features that drive results
theMarketer brings a suite of advanced capabilities designed specifically for Gomag users—features you won’t find in any other email marketing platform. These tools are built to remove friction, encourage conversions, and give you more control over how you engage with your customers.
a. Two-way contact sync
theMarketer supports seamless two-way synchronization of your Gomag contacts, ensuring your subscriber list is always up to date, regardless of whether updates happen in Gomag or directly in theMarketer. No extra steps required. Once the integration is complete, syncing happens automatically in the background.
b. Launcher discount codes applied at checkout
To display a discount code via the Launcher and apply it directly in the shopping cart, go to ‘Engagement’ > ‘Launcher’ in theMarketer, then click ‘Edit Launcher’.

In the ‘Discount messages’ tab, enable the ‘Display widget’ option, paste the link to your cart page, customize the message and CTA button, and hit ‘Save’.

When a logged-in customer visits the cart page, the message will appear automatically, and the discount code can be applied with a single click.

c. Add-to-cart directly from newsletters
To allow products to be added directly to the cart from your newsletter, open theMarketer’s email editor and insert a product block. In its settings, expand the ‘Action Button’ section and choose ‘Add product to cart’ from the dropdown. When the campaign is sent, clicking the button will instantly add the product to the user’s cart and redirect them to the checkout page, thus creating a seamless experience that significantly boosts conversion chances.

This section works similarly to the email editor; simply drag and drop layout components into the canvas, then place your content blocks inside the cells. This keeps your layout clean and ensures your page displays properly across devices.
d. High-converting pop-ups and landing pages
theMarketer gives you access to dozens of customizable pop-up and landing page templates, ranging from classic to gamified formats. Whether your goal is to grow your contact list, launch a discount campaign, or improve retention, you’ll have an intuitive editor at your disposal, with no coding required. Add dynamic elements, impactful visuals, and capture the exact data you need, while staying fully compliant with privacy regulations.
In short, integrating theMarketer with Gomag is more than just linking two platforms. It’s about building a complete marketing ecosystem that helps you boost sales, streamline your efforts, and take full control of how you communicate with your customers.
