Cleaning up subscribers

To help you optimize your costs, theMarketer lets you automatically clean your contact lists and unsubscribe contacts that have not interacted with your email campaigns for a longer period of time.

Automatic cleanup can easily be enabled or disabled under Settings -> Cleanup subscribers.

By default, if a contact has not opened any of your last 45 email campaigns, they will start receiving a plain text email whenever you send a new email campaign. The default plain text email can easily be edited in the same section.

If a contact receives 45 plain text emails and does not interact with any of them, then they will be automatically cleaned, meaning that they will be unsubscribed from your audience.

In the long run, this will help you keep your sender clean and optimize your costs since subscription prices are only calculated based on subscribed contacts.
