How is billing calculated? How is billing calculated?
theMarketer offers four main types of pricing plans: Free, Standard, E-commerce and E-commerce PRO. Each of the plans is designed to meet specific business and marketing needs.
All theMarketer subscriptions are paid in advance for the next billing cycle. The billing cycle is 30 days long, and starts the moment you first activate your subscription.
If you want to use SMS Campaigns, you will need to top up your account with SMS Credit, for which you will receive a separate invoice.
If you are in a country that is eligible for two-way SMS, you can also purchase a long number, which requires a monthly subscription. The charge will appear separately on your invoice.
For all paid plans, you are charged based on the maximum number of subscribed contacts in your account in the previous billing cycle. Unsubscribed and cleaned contacts are not taken into account in the billing process.
Your maximum contact count can change at any time. If your account experiences a natural contact growth, for example you capture new contacts via subscription forms, subscription popups, and landing pages, your service will not be interrupted. Instead, you will see an additional charge on your next invoice, which is calculated as the difference between your current pricing plan and the next plan you would have to upgrade to, according to your maximum contact count, divided by 30 days, and multiplied by the number of days left in the billing plan as of the moment the contact count was exceeded.
If you exceed your contact count by importing new contacts in theMarketer, your sending capabilities will be paused, meaning that you will not be able to send email, sms or push notifications campaigns until you upgrade to the next price tier in your plan, or reduce the number of contacts in your account.
If we are not able to charge your monthly subscription from the credit card registered in theMarketer, your sending capabilities will be paused. If you are on the E-commerce or E-Commerce PRO plan, this means that Automation will also be paused. For E-Commerce PRO plan, your account will stay in payment error for 7 days, after which Launcher, Loyalty Program and Referral Program will also be paused.
You can change or pause your subscription (for up to 3 months) at any time from the Billing plans section in Settings.
