How is the conversion rate calculated?

Conversion rate is a powerful metric that can help you measure the effectiveness of your marketing campaigns. In simple terms, it is a key performance indicator of how well your email campaigns are driving purchases.

At theMarketer, we calculate the conversion rate by dividing the number of transactions by the number of unique clicks. For instance, if your campaign gathers 1,000 unique clicks and results in 15 transactions, your conversion rate is 15/1,000 = 1.5%.

On your dashboard, you can find the global conversion rate for each type of campaign you delivered in the past 30 days.

For deeper insight into each campaign, their individual report shows the conversion rate of that specific campaign.

The ‘Comparative Ecommerce performance’ section also compares the conversion rate to the average conversion rate of all your campaigns. For benchmarking purposes, it also provides the average conversion rate of other stores that are using theMarketer, with a similar audience size and in the same industry.

To export the selected contacts, expand the ‘Action for X selected contacts’ dropdown menu and select ‘Export’.

Monitoring your conversion rate helps fine-tune your strategies and maximize your email marketing success. So, keep tracking and keep improving with theMarketer!
