The optimal sending time feature is a tool that ensures your campaigns land in your subscribers' inboxes precisely when they are most likely to engage and purchase your products. It works by analyzing each subscriber's historical behavior and adjusting your sending schedule accordingly.
When you choose this option, theMarketer will send your campaign to each subscriber within a 24-hour window, based on two selectable criteria: opening or buying.
If you choose to optimize your sending for opening, the system will analyze your historical campaign data for each subscriber and determine the time at which each of them most frequently opens your newsletters. This information is specific to your account and unique to each subscriber, creating a customized sending time aimed at maximizing email opens.
Similarly, if you choose to optimize your sending for buying, the system will analyze the historical campaign data for each subscriber and determine the time at which each of them most frequently places orders. This is again determined based on data from your account and it is specific to each subscriber, providing a tailored sending schedule aimed at peak buying activity.
Keep in mind that if you’re sending your first campaigns with theMarketer, the system won’t have sufficient data to accurately determine the optimal sending time for each individual subscriber, so you might be better off picking other smart tools, such as theMarketer’s best specific time.

To leverage theMarketer optimal sending time, you need to create a campaign, set the audience and subject line, create the content, and once you’ve reached the scheduling step, select ‘Send later’. New options will appear, including ‘theMarketer optimal time’, which you should click. Lastly, pick the criteria based on which the individual sending time will be determined - opening or buying.
theMarketer's optimal sending time empowers you to implement marketing strategies as unique as the subscribers you cater to. It's another step towards making your campaigns more personalized, engaging, and effective.
