Tell a Friend - Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
The Tell a Friend Program (the "Program") is run by theMarketer ("we," "us," or "our"). By taking part in the Program, both the person making the referral (the "Referrer") and the new user they invite (the "Referred User") agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. How to Participate
The Referrer can invite new users by email or by sharing their unique referral link.
The Referred User must click on the referral link and complete the usual registration process on theMarketer platform, including creating an account and paying for a subscription.
3. Referral Statuses
A referral invitation goes through four stages:
- Invitation Clicked – The Referred User has clicked the referral link but has not registered yet.
- Accepted – The Referred User has registered on the platform.
- Completed – The Referred User has added a domain to their account and can access the platform.
- Paid – The Referred User has successfully paid for a subscription.
4. Referral Rewards & Discount Application
Once the Referred User pays for a subscription, the Referrer gets a discount equal to the subscription amount paid by the Referred User in their first month using theMarketer, excluding additional services or purchases, such as SMS credit, transactional email credit, alphanumeric sender ID, etc.
To be eligible for a discount, the Referrer must have an active theMarketer account.
There is no limit on the number of invitations a Referrer can send. If multiple Referred Users subscribe to theMarketer in the same month, the earned discounts are cummulated and applied to the Referrer's first invoice after the Referred Users’ payment, up to the Referrer's total subscription amount. The Referrer is eligible to receive the cummulated discounts even when they switch from a free to a paid theMarketer subscription.
Example #1 => If the Referrer’s next invoice is €200 and they invite two Referred Users to theMarketer (whose subscriptions in their first month are €150 and €100, respectively), €200 will be applied as a discount to the Referrer’s upcoming invoice. The remaining €50 will be lost.
Example #2 => If the Referrer has a free plan and invites a Referred User to theMarketer, whose subscription in their first month is €100, the Referrer can switch to a paid plan the same month, and the earned discount (€100) will be applied to their first invoice, up to the total invoice amount.
The Referred User's account must stay active for at least 3 months. If the account is closed or canceled before this period, theMarketer will charge back the discount previously given to the Referrer.
Discounts from the Tell a Friend Program can be combined with other promotions or discounts that theMarketer may offer in the future, unless otherwise stated.
5. Additional Terms
The discount is applied immediately after the Referred User makes their payment.
There are no restrictions on who can send an invitation. Any existing user can take part and invite new users.
6. General Conditions
theMarketer can change, pause, or stop the Program at any time without prior notice.
Any fraud or misuse of the Program will lead to disqualification (no discount will be given).
